The Prosecutors Office to the Court of First Instance of Syros, based in Ermoupoli, constitutes one of the most important justice institutions in the Cyclades, with a historical presence spanning back to the 19th century. The territorial jurisdiction of the Public Prosecutor's Office extends across the entire district of the Court of First Instance of Syros and covers the regional units of Syros, Kea-Kythnos, Andros, Milos (Sifnos, Serifos, Kimolos), Mykonos, Paros (Antiparos), and Tinos.
