The Veroia Courthouse was constructed on a plot of land measuring 8,317.70 m². It comprises four above-ground floors with a total area of 5,800 m², as well as a basement covering 4,400 m². The building’s total floor area is 10,200 m².
The Court of First Instance of Veroia exercises the jurisdiction conferred upon it by the rules of civil and criminal procedure, as well as by the specific provisions of the law. Its judicial district covers the Regional Unit of Imathia.
The Regional Seat of Naousa operates under the Court of First Instance of Veroia and has territorial jurisdiction over the Municipality of the Heroic City of Naousa.
The Court of First Instance of Veroia is organised into a Civil Division and a Criminal Division. The Civil Division comprises the Multi-Member and Single-Member Courts at the Main Seat, the Single-Member Court at the Regional Seat of Naousa, as well as matters relating to legal remedies and bankruptcy proceedings. The Criminal Division comprises the criminal courts, the Judicial Council for Misdemeanours, the Investigating Division and the Special Preliminary Investigation Division.

Civil cases falling within the subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance of Veroia are heard by the Civil Division. These include cases under the ordinary and special proceedings, non-contentious proceedings, interim measures and bankruptcy proceedings, as well as any other disputes assigned by law to the Single-Member or Multi-Member Court of First Instance.

The Regional Seat of Naousa operates under the Court of First Instance of Veroia and handles cases falling within its territorial jurisdiction, which covers the Municipality of the Heroic City of Naousa.

The Office provides registry support for applications for interim measures and temporary orders, applications for legal aid, and consensual prenotations of mortgage.

The Office receives and processes applications for certificates falling within the jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance.

The Office handles matters relating to the publication of wills and the declaration of holographic wills as valid, as well as requests concerning wills and the records maintained by the Court.
It also handles matters relating to associations and issues Apostille certificates under the Hague Convention for documents falling within the jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance, in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
The Office receives and processes applications for the issuance of payment orders and provides registry support for the related cases.
